Bodhi’s childhood growing up in an off-grid solar house with an environmentally conscious family fostered her passion and set her on the path to a career in environmental engineering.
Through her project management work, Bodhi addresses the landfill crisis in New York resulting from the lack of waste disposal space. In this video, she explains how Tetra Tech’s work is helping mitigate the landfill problem by creating mechanically stabilized earth berms that allow landfills to be expanded upwards to save space and increase landfill lifespan. Through the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse, and Recycling (NYSAR), Bodhi also is working with recycling coordinators across the state to find waste solutions for recycling challenges in New York.
